CAMPIONE | 2025 | March 10-16

POKERSTARS launches a new live circuit in Europe: in 2025, the PokerStars Open will debut, a new brand that will replace the “regional” circuits such as UKIPT, EUREKA, ESTRELLAS, and FPS.

The first 6 stops, which will be real Poker Festivals, have been announced. The Main Events will feature a guaranteed prize pool of €1 million/£1 million with a buy-in of €1,100/£1,100. The big news is that PokerStars international poker will return to Italy at Campione d'Italia.

POKERSTARS announces that “each event will be held at established partner casinos, allowing players to fully enjoy the PokerStars experience throughout the year, highlights including top-notch dealers and staff, smooth registration processes, unmissable player activities, and a detailed Live app enabling players to efficiently track and view tournament data.”

PokerStars Open: the stop at Campione d'Italia from March 10 to 16
The big news is that the first stop will be at Campione d'Italia from March 10 to 16, 2025. As is well known, the casino of the Italian enclave in the Canton of Ticino, Switzerland, will be managed by PokerStars starting in 2025 following the agreement with Sisal.

An international PokerStars event returns to Campione after the 2012 European Poker Tour stop.

As mentioned, there are 6 stops, two of which will take place during the EPT of the European Poker Tour in Monte Carlo and Barcelona, with 3 new locations (one of which is, naturally, Campione d'Italia).

PokerStars has also announced live streaming for the Italian tournament. Starting today, December 19, online satellites on PokerStars will begin for qualification for the Campione stop, but follow Assopoker for updates on other ways and channels.
