A new chapter begins for Luca Pagano, who has described this stage of his career as "PokerStars: Chapter Two!". After a long career as a professional player and event organizer in the poker world, Pagano is back on the scene in a leading role: he will be in charge of the PokerStars Live Room at the Casino di Campione d’Italia.
Pagano’s enthusiasm is evident: “I’m thrilled to announce my return to PokerStars after so many years of experience, from the poker boom until recently.” However, this time his approach will be different, as his involvement goes far beyond that of a simple player.
"As a passionate poker player and co-founder of Pagano Events and Qlash, this new role represents a unique opportunity to combine my experience in the field with the innovation I have always sought to bring to eSports," he explained. In fact, the project will not be limited to traditional poker but could also include competitive gaming, enriching the Casino di Campione d’Italia’s offerings and attracting a broader audience.
The ambition behind this initiative is clear, and both Pagano and PokerStars country manager Enrico Rusi have emphasized its importance: “With the new PokerStars Live Room in the largest casino in Europe, we aim to become the epicenter of poker in the continent, creating live events that convey excitement, professionalism, and an inclusive atmosphere for thousands of players.”
The challenge will kick off with a major event: the PokerStars Campione Open, scheduled from March 10 to 16. This will be the first stop of the PokerStars Open, the new international circuit designed to offer players an engaging experience, with more accessible buy-ins while maintaining the high standards that have always defined the brand.
Excitement for this debut is sky-high, and the countdown to the inauguration of the PokerStars Live Room has already begun. The goal? To immediately test this new reality with a major tournament and start this adventure in the best possible way, leaving a lasting mark on the live poker scene.
